IAS trainees visit Sri City

Sri City, January 10, 2020:- A group of twenty trainee officers of the Indian Administrative Service (IAS) visited Sri City on Friday as part of their winter study tour. Mr. Ravindra Sannareddy, Founder Managing Director, Sri City extended them a warm welcome.

Welcoming the visitors, he said,”Sri City, that emerged as one of the best world-class smart business destinations in the country by striking a perfect harmony between industrial growth, sustainable environment and social responsibility, stands as a bright example for transforming the agrarian economy of the area into an industrial economy with active participation of the local community.” He gave a detailed presentation on the saga of developing the mega industrial park, challenges faced during the development phase, salient features of the world-class infrastructure and the progress achieved.

Commenting on the visit, Mr. Ravindra Sannareddy said,“We feel honoured as the project implementation model of Sri City is being referred and studied by the technocrats, administrators and planners of our country. We feel happy to share our experience with them,” he added.

Exhilarated at the clear vision, perfect planning, meticulous implementation, keenness on employment generation, and sustainable urbanisation principles of Sri City, all the officers appreciated the efforts of the management of the business city.

This is the second batch of trainee IAS officers, belonging to different state cadres, visiting Sri City within a week. During the briefing session, they evinced keen interest and inquired on different aspects of Sri City, encompassing water & power supply and industry needs, the job opportunities, waste management, etc., Later, they went round the mega industrial park and witnessed the world-class infrastructure and the business friendly ambiance. They visited the production units of Everton and Pals Plush.
