Sri City, May 9, 2016:- The Singapore based Vital Paper Products Pvt., Ltd., which proposes to start a Packaging Division broke the ground on Monday in Sri City. Mr. Sashi, Managing Director, Vital Paper Productions, performed ground breaking ceremony and laid the foundation stone in the presence of Mr. Pradeep Deshpande, General Manager, Packaging Division, Mr. Panduranga, Head of Operations, Vital Papers unit in SEZ, and a host of other senior officials.
Mr. Pradeep said that they preferred Sri City for setting up this unit in view of a huge growth potential. “We will be ideal partners to the companies in and around Sri City, offering best quality corrugated packaging solutions at competitive price. Our customers can enjoy just in time (JIT) and supply chain with our unit being next to their factories,” he added.
Commenting on the occasion Mr. Ravindra Sannareddy Founder Managing Director, Sri City said,”We are happy that Vital Paper preferred Sri City to open their third unit, which is yet another client in packaging industry sector. Presence of such companies in Sri City will not only be an added advantage for most industries located here, but also creates a symbiotic ecosystem for manufacturing industries.”
M/s Vital Paper Products have already set up two units in Sri City, one at the Domestic Tariff Zone (DTZ) and the other at Special Economic Zone (SEZ). While the existing two units produce office & school stationery and other paper products, the proposed new division makes corrugated packaging material with four colour printing, rotary slotted cartons, open & pre-fold trays and telescopic corrugated cartons.
The unit will be set up at an investment of Rs.60 crores, in a plot of 2.8 acres, adjacent to Vital Paper Products plant in DTZ. The highly automated plant with a 4 colour printing facility, which is expected to be ready by next April, will give create job opportunity for about 70 persons.
