Sri City, January 26, 2021:- The 72nd Republic Day was celebrated with enthusiasm and zeal in Sri City. In a colourful ceremony held at the lawns of Business Centre Mr. Jagadish Nayak, Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP), Sri City unfurled the National Flag, and took salute in an impressive parade held by the contingents of Sri City security force.
Exhorting Sri City community to acknowledge the sacrifices and suffering of freedom fighters, Mr. Jagadish Nayak appealed,”On this occasion let’s rededicate ourselves to the nation, and contribute our might in making the country strong and self-reliant.”
Conveying greetings on the occasion, Mr. Ravindra Sannareddy, Founder Managing Director, Sri City in a message stated, “On this joyous occasion, I extend my hearty greetings and good wishes to the Sri City community. I applaud ‘team Sri City’ for making Sri City as one of the best dream destinations for business in the country, exemplifying globalisation and bettering the economy of the region by creating mass employment.”
“I take this opportunity to appreciate the untiring efforts of the community as whole in maintaining Sri City as a ‘corona-free-green zone’, though surrounded by containment zones all around, by strictly following all preventive measures as protocoled by authorities,” he added.
Mr. Mukunda Reddy, Director, Sri City, Mr. Satish Kamat, President (Operations) and C. Rameshkumar, Vice President (Customer Relations) addressed gathering. Mr. Ramesh, Head, Security and Vigilance coordinated the ceremonial parade. Employees and their families and public from the neighbouring villagers took part in the event.
Republic day was celebrated in a befitting manner at the Development Commissioner’s office, HRD, Krea University and IIIT campuses, and all the schools in Sri City vicinity.
