Sri City, February 25, 2018: The 47th National Safety Week celebrations were inaugurated by Mr. Satish Kamat, President (Operations) in a function held here on Monday. After addressing the employees he administered safety pledge.
Underscoring the importance of safety in work area, Mr. Ravindra Sannareddy, Founder Managing Director, Sri City in a message stated,”National safety week is observed to create safety awareness and promote safety culture among the people in the society for preventing untoward incidents.”
“As most accidents take place due to negligence, utmost importance should be given to ‘safety’ at all levels,” he called upon the Sri City community.
Mr. Altaf, General Manager, Security & Vigilance informed that as part of the safety week celebrations, several awareness programs and quiz, essay writing and drawing competitions will be held for employees and students throughout the week. On 3rd March a concluding function will be held. Mr. K. Narendra Babu, Assistant Manager, EHS (Safety) coordinated the conduct of event.
