Sri City, January 13, 2018:- A five member team of IAS officers, who are serving as Assistant Collectors in different districts of Andhra Pradesh, visited Sri City on a study tour. Mr. Ravindra Sannareddy, Founder, Managing Director, Sri City extended a warm welcome to the officers and briefed them on the salient features and status of Sri City.
Commenting on the visit, Mr. Ravindra Sannareddy said,“We take pride in the fact that, this vast expanse of planned city infrastructure forming a smart support system for industrial units and making provision for integrated development in the region, has been intriguing administrators and technocrats as a typical project of serious study.” “We are very happy to share our experiences with the future policy makers of our country,” he added.
Impressed with the infrastructure and eco friendly ambiance of Sri City, they all appreciated its perfect planning, meticulous implementation, sustainable urbanisation principles and keenness on employment
generation.
The team, which included Mr. Anand, O, IAS, East Godavari, Mr. Mahesh Kumar Ravirala, IAS, Nellore, Mr. Venkateswar Salijamala, IAS, Anantapur, Ms. Misha Singh, IAS, Visakhapatnam and Ms. Kirthi Chekuri, IAS, Chittoor, evinced keen interest and quizzed on different aspects of Sri City. They went round the industrial park and visited the production units of Isuzu, Everton Tea and Foxconn.
