AP State Legislature Committee on Public Accounts visits Sri City

Sri City, August 29, 2018:-  As part of its tour in Sri Potti Sri Ramulu Nellore and Chittoor districts for reviewing the works in progress, the Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly Committee on Public Accounts, headed by Mr. Buggana Rajendranath Reddy, MLA visited Sri City on Wednesday. Other members of the committee included Mr. Penmetsa Vishnu Kumar Raju and Mr. Pilli Subhash Chandra Bose. Mr. Ravindra Sannareddy, Founder Managing Director, Sri City extended a warm welcome to the Chairman and members of the  committee, and gave a presentation on the infrastructure, unique features, brisk pace of development of Sri City and the enormous job opportunities created.

Exhilarated at the clear vision, perfect planning and meticulous implementation of Sri City Project, Mr. Rajendranath Reddy said that they were all highly impressed with Sri City, and appreciated the efforts in creating ample jobs for the locals, particularly the women. Appreciating the hard work in transforming the backward area into a model industrial park, the Chairman of PAC assured all support to the project.

Commenting on the Committee’s visit Mr. Ravindra Sannareddy said,”We consider it as a great privilege to have the honourable Chairman and members of the Public Accounts Committee in Sri City. The visit reflects the strong impetus and seriousness of the elected representatives in monitoring the implementation and status of development works in the region.”

The committee went round the industrial hub and witnessed the industrial progress taking place. They visited the production units of Rising Star (Foxconn) Mobiles India and Isuzu Motors India and interacted with the workers.
