Sri City, September 27, 2017:- The officers and staff of the Development Commissioner’s (DC) office of Sri City SEZ took up the drive of cleaning the area and planting trees in the office premises, on Wednesday, as a part of ‘Swachhta Hi Seva’ campaign.
Speaking after the programme, Mr. Vijaya Bhaskar, Specified Officer, of Customs said,”Inline with the call given by the Hon’ble Prime Minister of India, ‘Swachhta Hi Seva’ campaign is taken up with an aim to create awareness among the public on the importance of clean environment.”
Senior officers of DC’s office Mr. A.S.P. Sarma, ADC, Mr. M.S.N. Murthy, Preventive Officer, Mr. Satish Kamat, President (Works) and other senior officials and staff took part in the event.
‘Clean & Green’ is an ongoing activity carried out at regular intervals, and Sri City Foundation coordinates campaign.
