Sri City, October 31, 2018: A 10 member delegation of the Italian Industry Association (Confindustria), headed by Ms. Anna Mareschi Danieli, Executve Vice President, Danieli & C. Officine Meccaniche S.p.A. and President of Confindustria, Italy visited Sri City on Wednesday. In a meeting held at the premises of the Danieli Unit, Mr. Francesco Esposito, CEO, Danieli india, Ltd., extended a warm welcome and gave an over view of the activities of the company in India.
Mr. Ravindra Sannareddy, Founder Managing Director, Sri City gave a presentation on the unique features of the industrial park, the existing investor-friendly ecosystem and specific advantages of setting business in Sri City.
Expressing happiness on their visit he said, “We consider your visit very important, as each one of you lead business across diversified sectors. Your views and suggestions will be useful for us, as Sri City industrial hub hosts, besides large industries, small and medium enterprises too.”
Mr. Sauro Mezzetti, Consul for South India and Indo Italian Chamber of Commerce & Industries briefed the delegates on the Indo-Italian business relations through Danieli.
On behalf the AP government Mr. B. Anil Kumar Reddy, General Manager, District Industrial Centre, Chittoor gave a presentation on the industrial policy of the government, investment opportunities and highlighted the various incentives that are being offered to investors.
Ms. Anna Mareschi Danieli expressed satisfaction at the mix of world class industrial infrastructure being provided in Sri City, and told that they all consider it as one of the best places to do business.
The delegation included some of the prominent manufacturing companies across different sectors in Italy. The purpose of their visit was to have a first hand information about the mega industrial park and explore the investment opportunities. They all evinced keen interest in knowing more about the industrial park and the existing units that have come from different parts of the world. They visited the production unit of Danieli.
