Chittoor District collector meets unit heads of Sri City

Sri City, October 25, 2017:- Mr. P.S. Pradyumna, IAS, District Collector, Chittoor visited Sri City on Wednesday. Mr. Ravindra Sannareddy, Founder Managing Director, Sri City, extended a warm welcome.

The District Collector had a meeting with the senior managements of the industrial units. Besides Mr. Ravindra Sannareddy, senior managers of all the companies interacted with the collector and appraised him on the status of industrial progress and activities under corporate social responsibility (CSR).

Addressing the gathering Mr. Pradyumna summarised the industrial friendly policies of AP government, various incentives and time limits for claiming the same. Appreciating the CSR efforts, he suggested to concentrate on the improvement of roads in the villages, educational facilities, drinking water facilities, etc., Also, he asked the companies to regularly update his office about the details of employees. Mr. Pradyumna stated that the IALA (Industrial Area Local Authority) funds will be utilised for various developmental works in Sri City villages.

Thanking the District Collector for convening the meeting Mr. Ravindra Sannareddy mentioned,”We are very grateful to the state government and the district administration for the proactive approach towards improving ‘ease of business’ in the region.” He requested all the companies to take more active part in the CSR activities, which are aimed at the overall development of the Sri City villages.

Mr. Chandramouli, District Industrial General Mr. Anilkumar and Mr. I.L.Ram, APIIC Zonal Manager Manager were also present in the meeting.
