International Yoga Day observed in Sri City

Sri City, June 21, 2018:- Sri City community observed the 4th ‘International Yoga Day’ on Thursday with great vigour and enthusiasm. Mrs.Vimalakumar, Sub Divisional Police Officer, Sri City, inaugurated the Event. Addressing the participanrs of the event she said,”Yoga is important for all of us to keep up our health and happiness. Therefore, I appeal all to practice it for individual and societies happiness.”

Yoga masters Vinaykumar, and Purushotham of Pranava Institute of Yoga and Wellness, Nellore administered the event and performed surya namaskaraas and various asanaas. They highlighted the benefits of each of the exercise they demonstrated. Mr. A. Sanyasi Rao, General Manager, Sri City also demonstrated a few asanas.

Annotating on the occasion, Mr. Ravindra Sannareddy, Founder Managing Director, Sri City said, “Yoga, an invaluable gift of India’s ancient tradition, is a must in today’s stressful life. It keeps mind and body healthy and stress free. I appeal the Sri City community, find time to practice yoga daily for better health and improved relationships, more clarity of thought and creativity.”

About 100 employees and executives of Sri City and its units took part in the programme that commenced at 6 am. Sri Ramaraju, Consuktant (Campus Life), IIIT and Sri Sathish Kamath, President, Sri City attended the programme.
