The road network within Sri City is designed such that even two farthest separated points at a distance of 15 km from each other can be covered in 15 minutes. The roads are categorized into arterial, primary, secondary and tertiary roads, with the backbone being a 70m wide six-lane expressway with a central median and two service lanes on either side. The internal road system has primary roads of 53m & 47m width, secondary roads of 31m width and tertiary roads of 24m width. The design of the roads meets the standards specified by the International Road Council.
