Sri Prasanna Venkateswara mandir inaugurated in Sri City

Sri City, October 3, 2020: Following a series of poojas that started with the VikshvasEna pooja and ended with the upachara pooja, amidst vedic chanting and while a large group of devotees chanting ‘Govinda’, the consecration ceremony of Lord Sri Prasanna Venkateswara Swamy was performed by vedic scholers on Saturday morning in Sri City. Vastu Puja, Ashtadikpalaka Puja, Kalasaradhana, Navagraha Puja and Homam were the important rites performed during the ceremony.

Sri City Founder Managing Director Ravindra Sannareddy expressed happiness for installing the Lord’s idol at lush greenery and pleasant atmosphere, and called upon the surrounding villagers to visit the temple and have blessings of the Lord.

Besides Sri City employees, people from Aruru, Aruru Kandriga and other surrounding villages participated in a large number in the ceremony. All the devotees were given teertha prasadam, and anna daanam was also conducted. Devotees expressed their pleasure to visit the Lord and participate in various pujas, especially on the most special day for the Lord, the third Saturday of the month of Peratasi.
