Sri City, July 21, 2018:- Office of the Development Commissioner (DC), Sri City SEZ, Federation of Indian Exporters Organisation (FIEO), Southern Region, Chennai and the management of Sri City, have jointly organised a training session on International Trade Finance in Sri city, for the benefit of SEZ units related to Imports and Exports.
Expressing happiness for hosting the training session, Mr. Ravindra Sannareddy, Founder Managing Director, Sri City in a message said,”It is very heartening to host the session on International Trade Finance which is being organised with the initiative of DC and FIEO. Events of such kind provide a great opportunity to the senior executives to update their knowledge and keep obsessed with latest developmental scenario on the whole gamut of the subject.”
Mr. R. Muthuraj, ITS, Development Commissioner, Sri City SEZ, Dr. K.Jayanthi Anand, Director, Department of Communication, RBI, Chennai, Mr. V. Gopal, General Manager, Indian Bank, Chennai, Mr. Raghunath, GM &Vice Principal, RBI Staff College, Chennai, Mr. Ambrish Bhandari, Dy. G.M. & Regional Head, Export-Import Bank of India, Chennai, and Mr. K. Unnikrishnan, Dy. Director General (SR), FIEO, Chennai gave expert lectures with illustrations on the latest trends in International Trade Finance, Funding options for SEZ units, On FEMA related to SEZ units, FIEO and it services.
At the end, there was an interactive question & answer session, in which the participants took part actively and got their doubts clarified. Mr. C. Vijaya Bhaskar, Specified Officer Sri city SEZ and Mr. J. Jayakumar, Asst. Director, FIEO coordinated the conduct of sessions. Senior officials of Sri City along with CEOs / Heads of Units participated in training session and interacted with the faculty.
