Core Banking Solutions introduced in Sri City post office

Sri City, October 31, 2018: In a significant boost to postal financial services, Mr. K. Balasubramanian, IPoS, Chief Post Master General (CPMG), Andhra Pradesh announced that Core Banking Solutions (CBS) will go live in Sri City post office with immediate, in the presence of Ravindra Sannaareddy, Founder Managing Director, Sri City,  Smt. T.M. Srilatha, IPoS, Post Master General, Kurnool Region, and a host of senior postal officials of the division. In a formal ceremony held on Wednesday, the CPMG said that as part of modernisation of postal services the online postal banking service is being introduced. “It will be at par with any other commercial banks, and enable the customers to do transactions from any part of the country,” the CPMG added.

Thanking the Postal authorities for offering innovative services suiting the needs of a large vibrant community in Sri City, Mr. Ravindra Sannareddy said,”Introduction of state of the art services will certainly be an added feature for the speed & reliability of postal services.”

While requesting the SPMG to explore the possibility of installing postal automated teller machines (ATMs) and introducing passport processing service in Sri City at the earliest, he urged the Sri City public to make use of the service of the post office.

Speaking on the occasion, Smt. T.M. Srilatha explained various services that are currently offered by the sub post office. Stating that their ambition is to reach every company through service, the PMG said that the scope of the all the services will grow in tune with the business.

The CBS provides solution for anywhere, anytime banking through ATMs, internet and mobile banking services. Soon ATMs will be installed and ATM cards will be issued to post office savings bank customers to avail 24×7 banking facilities.
